WARNING/PROBATION/SUSPENSION
Students are given a grade report at the end of each semester. If a student is placed on academic warning, probation or suspension, this is indicated on the student's transcript.
A student who fails to achieve a minimum G.P.A. of 1.67 is given a warning. A student who fails to achieve a minimum G.P.A. of 1.67 for 2 consecutive semesters is placed on academic probation. Should the student continue to fall below a G.P.A. of 1.67, he/she is placed on academic suspension for one semester. During this period, we encourage the students to meet with the College's Counsellor for assistance.
Students on academic warning are required to retake any courses they have failed within the given semester.
Students on academic probation are allowed to register for one class only or three credits.
Students placed on academic suspension are not allowed to register for one semester.
FOREIGN STUDENTS/STUDENT PERMITS
All foreign students are required to have a valid immiigration permit on file in order to register for classes. It is the student's responsibility to present the Records Office with a valid immigration permit. Failure to do so would prevent students from registering for classes. Foreign students are required to register as full time students.
